Description Voluntarily allow the collection and banking of ALL cells and germline DNA specimens from children for future research.
EligibilityInclusion Criteria-including but may not be limited to:
o Patients less than 31 years of age at the time of initial diagnosis of ALL
o Adequate bone marrow or peripheral blood specimens
o Patient has ALL at first or subsequent marrow relapse with greater than or equal to 25% blasts in the bone marrow and/or peripheral blood
o No systemic anti-leukemic treatment has been administered for the current relapse
Purpose The purpose of this study is to establish a mechanism to bank specimens of tumor cells and host germline DNA from patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at first and subsequent relapse; and to make these specimens available to qualified researchers to study the biology of ALL.
