- Colorectal Cancer -
LIVED EXPERIENCE OF SEXUALITY FOLLOWING TREATMENT FOR COLORECTAL CANCER (Investigator Initiated Protocol)

Participants will be cancer survivors identified by staff from patients being treated. Following consent of the participant, the researcher will conduct a two to four hour unstructured interview. The researcher will follow the subject’s lead in exploring how sexual experience was impacted by colon cancer survival. Subjects will be invited back for a second interview if there are areas needing clarification or further inquiry.
- Colorectal Mets:
NCCTG-N054C: PHASE II STUDY OF SORAFENIB/BEVACIZUMAB AS SALVAGE THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH METASTATIC COLORECTAL CANCER

This study is for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. A treatment cycle is 2 weeks. The cycle will consist of taking Bevacizumab day 1 and Sorafenib days 1-5 and 8-12 and will continue for each cycle (every 2 weeks). Participants will remain on study until disease progression or unacceptable side effects. Participants will be monitored for 2 years.
- Rectal Cancer -
ECOG #E3201: AN INTERGROUP, RANDOMIZED, PHASE III STUDY OF POSTOPERATIVE IRINOTECAN, 5-FLUOROURACIL AND LEUCOVORIN VERSUS OXALIPLATIN, 5-FLUOROURACIL AND LEUCOVORIN VERSUS 5-FLUOROURACIL AND LEUCOVORIN FOR PATIENTS WITH STAGE II OR III RECTAL CANCER RECEIVING EITHER PREOPERATIVE RADIATION AND 5-FLUOROURACIL OR POSTOPERATIVE RADIATION AND 5-FLUOROURACIL (2_20040101_118)
There are two treatment groups in this trial. One group receives radiation therapy combined with 5-fluorouracil chemotherapy before surgery; and the second group receives surgery first, followed by one of the combinations chemotherapies, followed by radiation therapy with 5-FU, followed by more combination chemotherapy.
- Small Bowel Cancer -
NCCTG #N0543 – PHASE II OF PHAMACOGENETIC-BASED DOSING OF IRINOTECAN, OXAPLIPLATIN, AND CAPECITABINE AS FIRST LINE THERAPY FOR ADVANCED SMALL BOWEL ADENOCARCINOMA

This study will use the following drugs: Irinotecan, Oxaliplatin and Capecitabine. Patients will be assigned to one of three arms and treated accordingly.

NSABP #LTS-01: PATIENT REPORTED OUTCOMES IN LONG TERM SURVIVORS WITH COLON AND RECTAL CANCER

Participants will be contacted by an interviewer from UCLA. They will be asking questions as to how the participant’s quality of life has been affected by colon cancer treatment. This telephone call will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes. This call will be at your convenience. If there are any questions you do not wish to answer you do not have to.
